 A famous and popular variety of kulcha recipe or amritsari kulcha naan recipe which is mainly prepared with paneer based stuffing. traditionally  kulcha recipe hails from punjabi cuisine and hence it also referred as amritsari kulcha naan.  In punjab, there are several varieties of kulcha recipe which differs with its stuffing.  This recipe post mainly talks about the paneer stuffed kulcha recipe which is popularly known as paneer kulcha recipe.

 Paneer kulcha recipe.  Firstly, I have prepared this kulcha recipe using baking powder and baking soda, however it can also be prepared from yeast too.  Secondly, i used normal tawa to roast these kulcha’s with later cooking it upside down.  alternatively it can also be baked in oven too.  lastly, if you do not prefer paneer stuffing, you can prepare without it for a basic kulcha recipe. Today I am sharing with paneer kulcha recipe step by step try this amazing recipe.


 Ingredients for kulcha: -

 • 1cup all purpose flour (maida)

 • 1tbsp powder sugar

 • 2tbsp curd

 • 1tsp baking soda

 • 1 TSP oil

 • 1 TSP baking powder

 • 1/2 TSP salt

 Ingredients for paneer stuffing: -

 • 1 cup curd

 • 2tbsp ginger garlic paste

 • 1tbsp cumin powder

 • 2 TSP red chilli powder

 • 1 TSP black paper powder

 • 1tsp black salt

 • 1 cup gram flour

 • 1 TSP lime juice

 • 1/2 tumeric powder


 Other ingredients: -

  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese

 • 1 onion



 Firstly how to make paneer stuffing: -

 • Firstly in a large bowel add 1 cup curd ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, black paper, black salt, 1 cup gram flour, lemon juice.

 • mix everything well and add cottage cheese cubes.

 • Then heat a pan add 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and cook everything for about 2-3 minutes.

 • stuffing of the kulcha is a ready.


 How to make paneer kulcha: -


 • firstly in a large mixing bowl add 2 cup purpose flour, 1tbsp powder sugar, 2 tbsp curd, 1tsp baking soda, 1tsp oil, 1tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt.

 • mix while making sure everything is combined well.

 • add water to mix and form the dough once the dough is ready, coat it with oil.

 Cover and set it aside for 30min.

 • pinch a ball size dough and dust with maida.

 • roll two round sheet (1.5cms thick).

 • dust chopped coriander and black sesame seeds on it.

 • cook both Kulcha on either side for 2 minut.

 • choose souce of your choice (used marinara sauce) and mayonnaise.

 • put paneer cottage cheese mix add a few onion rings.

 • some mozzarella cheese.

 • cover with the other kulcha.

 • again top in with mozzarella cheese and bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.

 • dust some chilli flakes on top cut into two parts

 • ready to serve.
